Do I need to download an app?+

What does the fee cover?+
Every delivery is priced by distance, and you see the exact fee before you confirm — no surprises once the rider is on the way.
Is my payment protected?+
Today, you only pay Truce the delivery fee — the cost of the item itself goes straight to the seller when the rider picks it up, so there's no item payment for us to hold. Riders verify the item matches what you asked for before it leaves pickup. Full payment protection, where we hold your entire payment until you confirm delivery, is part of the marketplace we're building next.
What happens if we disagree about the delivery?+
Either side can raise a dispute and Truce responds within 24 hours. We review the evidence from both parties and make a final call on refunding the delivery fee, by policy within 5 business days.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?+
If you cancel before the rider is dispatched, the delivery fee you paid is refunded to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Is Truce regulated?+
Yes. Truce operates under the Bank of Ghana's Payment Systems and Services Act, 2019 (Act 987).
